Tasmania Migration Services undertakes to ensure that all applicants are assessed by referred Registered Migration Agents and advised professionally of the category of visa specific to the applicants background and needs. They will also professionally advise the most suited category for a non-business applicants.
On an exploratory visit Tasmanian Migration Services will also ensure that potential new settlers to Tasmania are introduced to an environment likely to create a favourable impression of the Island State of Australia by providing:
- A "meet & greet" service at the airport and continued pastoral care.
- Introduction to appropriate industry development officers of Department of Economic Development & Tourism.
- Introductions to prominent members of ethnic communities.
- Introduction to appropriate business contacts which includes Banks, Accountants, Law firms and Real Estate agents, to provide further information and assistance to clients needs. These need to be assessed to ensure that they are capable of delivering a required standard of service and are sympathetic to the needs of potential new migrants to Tasmania.
- Introduction to the State's education facilities at primary, secondary and tertiary levels including both public and private schools.
- It can be expected, that an comprehensive follow up will be made to the visits after their exploratory visits as made to Tasmania, by Tasmanian Migration Services.
